Rua do Alecrim is very easy to find. It is only a 2 minutes walk away from metro station Baixa-Chiado (green and blue line) and the legendary streetcar number 28. Also 200 meters away you will find the train station (Cascais Linie) and the ferry terminal from Cais do Sodré. You can also reach us with the busses number 6, 28, 35, 36, 40, 44, 45, 58, 82, 790 e 91. All those who want to drive to school, it is possible to park in the streets near the school or in the big car park from Chiado.

                            General Terms and Conditions

 

 

 

Object

 

The object of the following terms and conditions are language courses from Worldpuzzle. The language courses also contains all other kind of courses, private lessons and workshops  in the following named as courses.

 

Registration

 

The registration for a course can occur in a verbal or written way. With the registration participants automatically  accept Worldpuzzles general terms and conditions. Registration is legally binding and obligates the payment of booked courses.

 

Cancellation

 

Participants can cancel the booked course, without  any extra charge until 24 hours after the trial lesson. After this deadline, the participant is legally obliged to pay the full cost of the course. Participants who abort courses  are not entitled to any refund. It is not allowed for participants to transfer any parts of the course to other persons after the second lessons started. Worldpuzzle will provide vouchers for paid but not started courses. If the participant continue the course the trial lesson will count.

 

Course formalities

 

If the participant do not come to the trial lesson, without cancelling the trial lesson at least 24 hours before the lessons starts, he will be charged with a fee of 40 €. Every participant is allowed to postpone the lessons maximal 2 times in the course of at least 30 lessons. In this case the participant must inform the school at least 24 hours before the regular lesson starts. Otherwise the missed lesson will count.

If the theacher do not come to the course, this lesson will be replaced.

If a started course is not finished during one year since the start, the rest of the lessons will expire without refund of the course fee.

 

Certificate

 

Every participant receives a Worldpuzzle certificate upon successful course completion.

 

Course annulment

 

Worldpuzzle has the right to cancel courses due to lack of registrations. In this case, the participants will receive full reimbursement.

 

Invoice

 

Participants receive an invoice shortly after registration. The fees must be paid before the course begins otr at  latest before the second lesson starts.

 

Deferred payment

 

Deferred payment rates can be agreed with Worldpuzzle with maximum 2 installments. The first installment must be paid before the course starts. The last installment must be paid before the second part of the course starts.

 

Changes

 

Worldpuzzle reserves the right to make changes to the course programme and prices.

 

Insurance

 

Worldpuzzle assumes no liability. Participants should make their own insurance arrangements.

 

Jurisdiction

 

Portuguese law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Lisbon.
